I kinda liked the first part and knowing about the background of the games and Panem but brrr part 3 made me die of annoyance and boredom

OK SO : I liked it wayyyyy better than the first time around???? I still think it’s a bit too long, but it’s sooo interesting. There are so many little sentences in Snow’s pov that are just genius, yet subtil*! Its in those sentences, and the choices that he makes, that we comprehend his real nature. And especially in comparaison to the movie, which I think didn’t properly show his selfishness and his contempt for District people.
* the one that shocked me the most was how he had gained weight during the game??? Its just a small thing, but I swear when the rich are gaining weigh watching poor children starving and killing each other, you know there are some serious fuckness
