"RAZE" was an "ok" read for me.
It was a violent read. The overall story idea was interesting and pulled me into the book quickly, yet fairly early on I had a difficult time staying engaged.
The characters seemed more like sketches of ideas for characters to me. The author just didn't give me enough to work with to really care about the Main Characters. With the exception of Raze (who got a wee bit more than the other two), we are given very little relatable material on the other two players. They are just there. One taking violent abuse, the other dishing it out. Additionally, the back story took too long to roll out, imo. Or maybe it was right on time and I was just desperate to find a reason to care. I figured out the "mystery" 10% into the book so maybe that also factored. I dunno.
