It is one of the most well-written books I’ve read in a very long time, that has really rattled me to the core. Blending very serious topics with a great sense of humour and lightheartedness, that makes you laugh out loud one second and feeling your heartstrings rip the next.
Shannon and Johnny are such loveable characters with human flaws that they keep working on and despite being sceptic about them being minors and myself not being able to relate to them, they both are very mature in their own way. Also the side characters don’t fall short on personality. Every part of the story feels thought through and you can’t help but get sucked into it.
