Awwww, Russ is such a cinnamon roll—he seriously deserves the world.
He’s just so soft and sweet, especially with how much he overthinks everything in the beginning. You’re sitting there like, "Relax, she thinks you’re hot, it’s fine!" And then Aurora, who’s used to confident guys constantly hitting on her, is like, "Please stop, I want the boy that blushes," and I’m just—same girl, same.

Overall, I thought this was a cute, easy read.

The romance had great moments and a lot of heart, even if a few things didn’t fully land for me. Not gonna lie, I didn’t really see the point of the epilogue—but to be fair, I’m kind of an epilogue hater in general.
And her randomly owning a bookstore at the end?
It just felt a bit out of nowhere.
Like, yes—she mentioned liking books and there were brief conversations about a bookstore, but it didn’t feel organic to who she was throughout the story. It wasn’t woven in enough to feel like a natural part of her character arc, so when it happened, I was kind of like, “Wait, really? It just didn’t quite fit the vibe we got from her—but hey, good for her, I guess.

Either way, I’m excited for the next book—fingers crossed it doesn’t disappoint!
