You May Now Kill the Bride by R.L. Stine
3.0
I've come to learn that, even though I absolutely loved the Fear Street books back when I was younger, R.L. Stine is just not that great of a writer. Since my middle school/high school hey days I've tried reading a book that Stine proclaimed was for adults and the Fear Street reboot that he started a few years back and they just weren't written very well. Even when writing for adults and teens he just dumbs it down too much. The writing is stilted and repetitive and just downright boring.
But this book was a very easy read and more fun to read than that reboot he had going on a couple years back. At least there was an element of surprise/creepiness in regards to this book while that other reboot was just full on cheese.
