I actually really enjoyed this book, probably more than Fifty Shades of Grey. There's something about the fact that it's written from his point of view that makes the book very intriguing and relatable. I do believe, however, that it was wise to write this book after the original series - there were so many unanswered questions from the series that are answered in this book. I really thought I would be bored basically reading the same story twice, but although I knew what to expect, the read was very interesting and different.
