The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson
5.0
As close to a perfect 5 star as possible.
It took a little while to get into it as there is several prologues with little apparent relevance to each other (it will come up, it's just hard to start a book three different ways),
Other than that, I couldn't stop reading once I started. I appreciate how well Sanderson included an atheist character and I also enjoyed how he wrote his theist characters too. They feel like real people.
Real creativity is shown in what could have been another middle-ages based fantasy. Highly recommended.
