Okay this book was a four star and 5/5 on the spice scale but the only issues I had was getting lost on who was who with her guys and the going from current to the past was a little confusing. Other then those two issues which is more of a me problem then a book issue this book was amazing. I loved the fact it was more focused on the MFC and her story then it did the guys or her meeting the guys. The beginning had me in tears and that stayed with me the whole book which gives you more a connection and understanding on why Gem is who she is and does what she does. I thought this was going to be much more sweet, happy, kinky and not as emotional. Which the emotional and dark parts are what I love most about this book. I can't wait to read the next book in this series.
