I love a good slow burn and this was a first for me with slow burn where its friends to lovers. I was not disappointed. I felt this was a healthy depiction of what an adult relationship should form into. As much as we want to jump all in I resonate so much with the getting to know one another and building a strong foundation of friendship before adding in the physical because that is just so easy so why not do the hard part first! I really applaud the way Cristina displayed this in the story.
I also resonated with the grief in so many ways. I had no idea of the triggers and it hit home for me however it was so relatable it made me feel seen in a way.
The found family definitely one of my favorite parts of this group. I loved the bond that was shown and it was so heartwarming and fun.
I did have the pleasure of receiving a ALC as well and I enjoyed it my only thing I would change is the way the narrators interpreted the each other. The male doing the female voice was much more perky than the female actually narrating so I would say it needs to match the same tone for a similar vibe. That was the only thing I would change but I still enjoyed every minute!
