This book was okay. The pacing was just off for me.
The best way that I can describe how reading this book felt was "slow-motion clickbait." I felt like I was supposed to be BEGGING for the big reveal the whole time I was reading, but it wasn't even that amazing in my opinion.
I did really enjoy the short chapters, and I thought that the multi-POV was done well — each character felt distinctive to me. Once the pacing evened out at about 50% in, I enjoyed the storyline too!
Overall, a deeply okay mystery/thriller.
