Listen for the Lie by Amy Tintera
4.0
3.5 stars!
This was fun and entertaining, and the audiobook was a great way to experience this story. I loved that there was a little jingle before every podcast episode as well as a different narrator for those parts.
The first half really pulled me in, but later on the pacing seemed a bit off for me. Also, while I liked the main character Lucy, I couldn't understand certain decisions and why she behaved the way she did sometimes in the second half of the book. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed her snarky humor and her relationship with her grandma was beautiful.
Listen for the Lie wasn't as thrilling as I expected it to be, but the ending actually surprised me and I had a good time with it!
