I Love You So Much, I Hate You by Yuni

4.0

This is an enjoyable, one shot f/f romance manga. It’s a workplace setting, I appreciated that the characters are older and more mature. There’s a softness & subtlety in tone that made this an easily enjoyable read.

Ayako’s marriage is failing when she’s approached by her underlying who’s in love with her. They begin an affair and most of the story is Fujimura struggling with her feelings for Ayako and having to share her with her husband.

There’s a sympathetic story with Ayako trying to live up to everyone’s expectations for her at work and at home. She’s expected to be the perfect wife and give up her job and have children when she doesn’t personally want those things. It’s a very common story, but I still enjoyed reading this take on it.
