This book was really something else. When I first started reading and our characters (mainly Zade) we’re still entirely shrouded in mystery, I honestly couldn’t read very much at a time. Sure, it probably didn’t help that I continuously tried reading this book sitting alone at night in a dimly lit room but it was still quite scary for a while. This did also happen to help make this a phenomenal read for spooky season and I plan to continue on with the next book. I really enjoyed how there was more than one plot line of mystery with everything with Zade and everything with Gigi’s murder and then the ending on a cliffhanger. Overall I really enjoyed this book.

This book is also ridiculously hot (but please please PLEASE check TWs before you even start the book- it’s quite intense). I love the altering how rough yet also how gentle their intimacy and sex was, although some scenes were plain rape and did get a little hairy to read. The mirror maze scene and the initial sunroom scenes though had to be my favorites they were just ahhhhh,
