Sixteen Souls by Rosie Talbot
5.0
Sixteen Souls is amazingly and unexpectedly FANTASTIC!
This book hits the ground running and doesn’t stop. It’s full of action, grumpiness, mystery, romance, and adventure. The characters are all individual and amazing, to the point that I’d be hard pressed to pick a favorite.
(I’m lying. It’s Ollie. Geeky nerdy Ollie who would be content to spend his afterlife reading books, going to school, and watching movies. Also, I want to give each and every member of Charlie’s family the biggest hug. I adore them so much.)
This book has everything you could want: ghosts, magic, mystery, intrigue, high stakes, all wrapped around a unique and extremely well developed paranormal world centered in modern day York.
The plot is twisty-turvy and intricately weaved throughout the book. Even the few aspects that are predictable are pulled off in such a way that they left me swearing and wanting to throw things. I never wanted this one to end!
I’m off to immediately check the library for the sequel.
