okay I have to start out by saying there was a lot of potential here. There was some intriguing world building and germs of a good idea. the characters had potential. but A I have a serious problem with instalove in the scenario this story gives. not just in this story, in ANY story written by ANY author this particular trope makes me cringe. and B good GRIEF but this story needed a stronger editorial eye. Random tense changes and word choices that made it clear auto correct snuck up behind the writer and bludgeoned her with a brick. I just kept twitching. that's just a big ole NOPE for me.
