A really dynamic look at not only a family, but a culture. I will admit that this took me a while to get through. There is a lot going on during the front end as far as new characters go. Once I was settled in though, I really enjoyed reading this and started to really enjoy some of the characters. Even though this was a 500 page book I need to remind myself its really just the start of a much longer work. Looking forward to reading the rest of the collection in the future.
