The romance in this book came as a complete suprise to me, I feel like there were barely any signs leading up to it.

Once it was there I did appreciate it, though. Apart from that and the setting of the story, there wasn't much I liked. The characters were either insufferable or boring. I also feel like there were a lot of plot points that remained unresolved.

The whole storyline about the bombing ended up being resolved in like one sentence??

Although I liked some parts of the story and the time period, I definitely expected more from this
