Three Days Missing by Kimberly Belle

4.0

8 year old Ethan mysteriously goes missing on a school trip, his mother Kat is frantic with worry. She’s a single mum, separated from her abusive husband who is on a restraining order to stay away from her. Ethan is her only child who has an extraordinarily high IQ.
Another of the school mums, Stef, whose son Sammy is also on the trip gets a sinister phone call telling her that her son has been kidnapped. But Sammy is safe, they have taken the wrong child.
Stef and Kat’s lives couldn’t be more different - Kat’s struggling to make ends meet and Stef lives in luxury with her husband the Mayor, but Kat and Stef become inexorably linked as the drama unfolds and the plot deepens.
This is the first book from Kimberley Belle that I have read and which I read as part of a readalong with an online book club. The story is a gripping and tense race-against-time read that had me flying through the pages!!
Definitely recommended if you want an easy to read book that will quickly hook you into a compelling plot.
