I was pleasantly surprised by this. I love fairy tale retellings period. I enjoyed each of these to some extent. Some of them I wasn't as thrilled about, but I've added a few authors to my "must read" pile, so that's exciting. A nice mix of short stories and fairy tales included. Also loved the tree illustration title pages. Pretty.
