When i picked this book up from the store, i was slightly hesitant as i recently watched the film version they brought out and i hate reading books after seeing the film. However, nerve was nothing like the film. Apart from the concept of the game being dares and a few of the characters names, everything was different so i found it easy to stay intrigued.
I love love loved the last dare they had to complete and found it so gripping that i read this book in a day! The only reason i gave it 4* was because at the beginning i did find it a bit slow and thought i would prefer the film, but the more i got into it, i preferred the book to the film.
I also loved the cliffhanger it left me as a reader on, however annoying it may have been! A good read to finish off October with!
