This was the third time I’ve picked up this book because I just had such a hard time getting into it. I finally finished it due to a mix of physical book and audiobook reading (the audiobook was SO slow and 1.5x speed was a normal pace). In theory I liked this book. I did like the concept and the last quarter of the book is probably rate it a 3.5-3.75, but it just felt SO long. In the end a lot of the details were important, but it felt so tedious to get there. I also would’ve liked a little bit more at the end.
Graphic: Violence
Moderate: Fatphobia
