I fucking loved this book. Everything about it was so good.
Gabi & Vic are so adorable and their story just makes me giddy. The way Vic really put so much care & time into making Gabi comfortable & less ashamed of her adhd was so beautiful. I cried.
The representation of adhd in women was so accurate. Gabi has my entire heart, every single fiber of it. As someone who was diagnosed with adhd as a child & had a very hard time accepting it & is still figuring out how to articulate the ever racing thoughts, it was everything to see that represented & done so well & accurately. Gabi deserves the whole entire world & Vic is gonna give it to her.
Vic. He was everything. I loved how he loved Gabi & cared so deeply about her. He took so much responsibility to make her feel comfortable & erase all the negative thoughts she had been conditioned to feel about herself. WHEN HE STOOD UP TO HER BROTHERS????? ARE YOU JOKING??? obsessed with him.
A lot of reviews talk about the writing style but personally I don't think there's anything wrong with it? I really enjoyed the book. It's an easy, fun, lovely read.
