Bred in the Bone
by Kendra Elliot
This was so unrealistic. And I hated how Cate just gave up her job. Neither of the male love interests feels real at this point. And if Cate needs Henry to be near her at all times that seriously screams that she needs therapy. No joke.
"Bred in the Bone" follows as Cate gets involved helping with a local hit and run. Cate doesn't get why someone would have killed the man. But when it comes out that the man may have some ties to her and Tessa's best friend who went missing 20 years ago, Cate starts digging.
No spoilers, but come on. That is all I have to say. The novella went totally off the rails and I just shook my head. It didn't feel realistic.
