Did not finish book. Stopped at 7%.

I wanted so hard to like this! The blurb grabbed me, but the style of writing didn't. Attempted a couple of times before eventually dropping it. Was hoping it would get me out of the reading slump I was in, but the heavy scifi themes, confusing Pronouns and lack of exposition was way too distracting, I just could not get into it. But reading other reviews it doesn't sound like I missed too much.
