I could’ve breezed through this book in 2 days but I forced myself to go slow. Despite that, I still couldn’t put it down.
I’m a fan of the ACOTAR series and of Sarah J Maas in general so it’s not really a big surprise that I loved this book. Halfway through, it did feel like it dipped a little pace-wise. I never thought I’d say it for a SJM book but there may have been *too* much sex. But the last third absolutely made up for it.
This book was just a captivating read. It was also a beautiful and truthful commentary on managing mental illness and it really resonated with me. I bet SJM to give us another book. Pretty please.
