Sisters Red by Jackson Pearce

5.0

I FREAKING LOVED THIS BOOK!
firstly, being an older sister, i related to Scarlett so much. and Rosie was just as awesome a character. they're so alike, yet so different (and BAD ASS!), and it was awesome. their relationship was great, and the character development was probably my favorite part of this book. plus, Silas was a great woodsman. he was strong and caring, and i loved him! characters: A+
next, the retelling part of this was amazing! i love how Jackson Pearce tied every aspect of the story in, as well as added her own flare. the plot was great. there was a twist near the end that i totally saw coming, but it still was fantastic. the climax was phenominal, and when i had to go pick up my sister from the mall, i hated to put it down at that part. plot: A+
now, romance. its so not a spoiler (its on the back cover of the book) that Rosie starts having feelings for Silas. however, it all happened too quickly, and much of Rosie's POV was talking about Silas. i didnt care for it that much. they were cute, but i preferred Rosie's development or her relationship with Scarlett over that with Silas. romance: B

overall, fantastic read, and i HIGHLY recommend to any fairy tale fan. this isnt all flowers and singing. it's dark, suspenseful, humorous, sweet, and AWESOME! GO READ IT NOW!
