This feels like a very good ending to this section of the saga.
I have to admit I found an aspect I wasn't ready for. There is mention of rape -not overly graphic but it does go into a dive-in page scene not only as a reference to a past event. There were mentions in the previous books in the series but this felt worse as we spend more time with the consequences and the added injury where the victim is not believed. But it also goes through a very good example of moving and handling trauma. It feels like it was handled well.

*Spoilers ahead*
There are several characters that become dearer and yet some fall from grace. I have a strong reaction to the self-proclaimed king of pirates his past does not excuse the actions taken and the "good" he did was always done for selfish reasons. I am glad about the ending he had.

The Dragons are very selfish and self-centered with a huge ego, but then again so are humans.

I am eager to go on to the next installment in the Enderling series.
