From other reviews, it sounds like some people are tired of John Corey's wit. I am not, but that doesn't mean I would want to live with him! I really liked the book, as I have all of DeMille's books - my favorite is probably The Charm School. Yes the book was long, but there wasn't anything I would say could be pulled from the book - except maybe the last chapter. If I gave a reason, it would be a spoiler, so.....
