MILD SPOILERS AHEAD - Much like Demeter, there were times where I wondered whether this novel would stick it's landing. Mina was introduced sloppily and late into the novel and Steve's role was merely to be an ancient troll. I still enjoyed the ending enough but it was a bit rough getting there. Much like Demeter.
