Highly enjoyable and engrossing, but the Big Secret was a whopper - and ended up being the reason I knocked this down to three stars.

The descriptions of David's molestation by his aunt got way too graphic for my comfort level.

But a really engrossing read and a subject that romance novels don't really deal with. I'm surprised every time I pick up a book by Alyssa Everett, because what I expect to be unremarkably pleasant is generally considerably better than that.
