Listened to the audiobook and enjoyed it. Still one of my favourites by Emmy Sanders, was a nice comfort read and the narration was good.
I had to read this after reading Mateo’s book because I just loved Dixon as a side character.
The pet names he gave Mateo and Alex cracked me up every time, I think almost all my highlights of this book were those.
I am a total sucker for a grumpy/sunshine so this ticked my boxes. I did find that Dixon’s switch to suddenly liking Niko was a bit sudden and I would have liked it to be a bit more gradual.
Niko was just lovely, I really liked that his self assuredness meant he could take Dixon as he was and it felt like he remained patient without becoming a doormat.
