She Regrets Nothing by Andrea Dunlop
3.0
Goodness gracious what a dreadful group of people! The book was definitely entertaining, and pretty dark at the end, but I can honestly say that not a single character was likable. This is definitely what made the book what it was, and I recommend it as a beach read sort of novel (a little silly, really dramatic, etc.), but the characters were most certainly of the "love to hate" variety. Liberty was a foil to literally every single other character, which got tiring. I'm fairly sure Cameron was a sociopath, and everyone else was spoiled and irritating. Laila was the worst of all, but you knew that from the beginning. The only characters I somewhat liked were Cece and Reece, who caught on from the get-go what was happening and both seemed more down-to-earth. This is a good summer read overall-- nothing intellectual, but fun. Character development is really interesting, and the twist at the end was actually quite unexpected! Recommended!
