This was a really cool concept. I'm just not sure that Lietzau delivered on everything for me. I wish we'd spent more time in Oonai's dream world watching effed-up things happen, but that's not really what the point of this book was. It's more of an exploration of this horribly traumatized character finally having to deal with his trauma, and the dreams are the catalyst for him needing to do so.
I might check out the second book, but we'll have to see. If it's an absolute tome like Dreams of the Dying, I'll really have to consider lol.
