Coming Home by Sawyer Cole Hobson

5.0

I feel super lucky have to read this book back in September when Sawyer Cole first began writing about their journey to become their truest form. Being able to read the finished copy is just as monumental because it truly feels equivalent to the story, watching this book evolve into its finished product.

The writing is very clear and honest, giving you a glimpse into all the experiences and the pain Sawyer Cole has lived through. They’re able to reflect all the points throughout life to help lead them to who they are, but it’s with the rawest form of honesty that is guaranteed to break your heart. The vulnerability is truly a breath of fresh air and it sort of feels like I stole their diary. Sawyer Cole’s personality really shines.

I could have read this in a day, but I really wanted to reflect and digest everything I read to make sure I understood everything to its fullest. If this book isn’t on your radar, I hope it is now. Everyone deserves to be heard and everyone deserves a home.
