Love Lies: A True Story of Marriage and Murder in the Suburbs by Amanda Lamb

4.0

As an avid true crime reader and listener I was excited to find a book about a case I had never really heard of before. I came across the book in my libraries recently added and immediately checked it out because it peeked my interest. I felt like the author being so close to the case made the details provided to be very credible instead of someone that just heard about the case and researched it. I felt connected to the family and Nancy as I read the horrible tale of what happened to the young mother in July of 2008. The only reason this was not a 5 star read for me was because a lot of it felt very redundant. I understand that the author wanted to include every detail of each trial that took place but at times it became a bit mi h and I ended up putting the book down for a bit instead of continuing on and finishing it in a quicker time period because of this. All in all a very well put together inside look at a case of love gone wrong.
