Manga Classics Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen

5.0

I received a free copy through Netgalley, in return for an honest review.

This is a great adaptation, as usual! Although I'm quite fond of Jane Austen's work, I do notice I like the other Manga's better - it is not that easy to bring Austen's wittiness into this form. The adaptation still does justice to her work though, and I feel for the characters just as much as when I read the original book! I did miss Thomas Palmer (Mrs. Jennings' son-in-law) though. I loved Hugh Laurie's role in the miniseries by the way.

Anyway, if you like Manga's, I think this is a must-read again!
