Sleeping Late on Judgement Day by Tad Williams

4.0

Fresh out like a bat from hell and still being held hostage by forces great, Bobby Dollar stumbles through most of the book making things worse and hopelessly outmatched. It is in a sad way quite hilarious and well done. Tad Williams captures most of the spirit of the first book while getting steadily a bit depressing while upping the stakes significantly. The payoff is quite good though a bit unsatisfactory as a lot of issues arent quite resolved. A trilogy that finishes well but not completely, setting up the same for more books in the future.
