This was a stellar read for me.  I don't know why I waited so long to give it a try.  I can understand why the hype was so big when it was published.  Loved everything about it.  Will definitely be working through Backman's backlist considering how much I loved this one.

Heartfelt read with a variety of characters.  You will have a soft spot for each neighbor that pops in and out of Ove's life as the story progresses.  Backman does a great job of intertwining the cast of characters with Ove in how it affects the projection of his story.  A breath of fresh air for me.  One of those books that doesn't gloss over the reality of life, but also lets you know that clear minds and caring hearts can still be a thing even in the gut punch events that life throws at you.
