I enjoy a good fairytale retelling as much as the next person but guys this one was epic. As a kid Zach and his father were in a horrible car accident and his father died protecting him. After that Zach became a shell of a person, cold, unfeeling and didn’t want anyone to touch him. Zach’s mom held a party to help him find a bride since he was 33 and hadn’t done it himself.  Farrow’s evil step mother sold her father’s jade pendant after his death, and she had to get it back.  And who bought it? Well Zach of course. He finds her in the room that has the pendant during the party and questions her. Fae is quick witted and challenges him to a game of Go, hours later they are at an impasse. She takes off running and looses her sneaker. I know you’re wondering about the spice, the spice is spicing. Our angry, cold Zach has a very, very dirty mouth. And once he gets a taste of Fae it all over. This was an excellent reimagining of Cinderella, I loved how broken both Fae and Zach were in their own ways. But together, they find happiness.
