I found myself frustrated by this book more than anything else. I know that a huge part of the protagonist's story is that she is avoidant and that is actually part of the reason I started reading this book in the first place. I could relate to her. But the frustration was so much that it actually took away any enjoyment I was hoping to get out of the book. It felt very. . . STILL. Nothing happened because the protagonist refused to have a personality other than being afraid of confrontation. I get it. I do. But I don't feel like any lessons were learned or earned.
