Ruin
by John Gwynne
I'm loving this series. This book lives up to its name in the last several chapters. I am emotionally invested in multiple characters in the book based on my feelings. That doesn't happen too often.
Note: Maquin went from being a side character in book one to my favorite in book two. This guy is BADASS. That said - I'm worried for him despite surviving book three.
