Ten Dead Comedians: A Murder Mystery by Fred Van Lente

5.0

I enjoyed it a lot, actually more than Agatha Christie's book, which I just read before this. I guess I liked this better because it was in a modern setting, and I tend not to like "classic" books. The story was intricate, well structured, and not obvious.

I saw reviews that mentioned it was hard to keep all the characters straight because there were so many (obviously at least 10). I always have a hard time with that, so I made a character list right at the start, and it helped a lot.

Some reviews complained about the comedians not being funny, but I don't think that was the point. In a life-threatening situation, they would tend to not be funny.
