Drew and Bel are back in the second half of this duet and they are bringing ALL the drama. *****If you have not read The Wallflower (Book 1), please do not read any further***** Last we left Drew and Bel, Drew’s father forced him to discard Bel in front of him like a piece of trash and Drew did it in spectacular fashion. Heart broken and bleeding from her head, Sebastian is there to scoop her up and bring her home because what else are newly found brothers for. Now Bel is struggling with the loss of her mom, the head injury and a broken heart that hurts the worst thanks to Drew. Drew knows that he screwed everything up and dare I say he feels remorse, but he will stop at nothing to get his Flower back.
I love this author and I really enjoyed book 1, but something about this book just did not work for me. I had a hard time getting into it and I kind of ended up disliking most of the characters until about 60% of the way through. This is just my personal opinion and I feel like that should not sway you from reading this book. There was just something that did not catch my attention as much as book 1 did.
