The Dresden Files is my new favourite thing! This collection of the first six books was a great value and I don’t regret it for a second!
The overall arching story doesn’t really have any payoffs in these first six books, but rather sets the rest of the series up. Yes, this is such a great series that it takes six books to really set up the world and introduce characters and factions, as well as a fantastic magical system.
I read 17 straight Dresden books and I would have never have done that of these first six books didn’t draw me into an amazing world, and most importantly the greatest main character all of Fantasy.... Harry Dresden.
