Broderick, the male witch lead, is shocked by how attracted he is to Ophelia, the female firebird shifter he released from a spell keeping her in a rabbit’s form. But Ophelia has more baggage than being kept as a bunny, and Broderick will need to work hard to convince her that he sincerely wants a relationship and that she does too…

This novella is dual POV, well written and edited, and a great addition to the series. I adored how cutely awkward both characters were with each other. It was sweet to see how they worked through their miscommunications with each other and with others. I enjoyed the relationship development and the intimate scenes. I also enjoyed the integrated secondary characters and the family relationships. I love this world and every story the author writes in it is great. I just wish this had been longer and can’t wait for the next one!

I received a complimentary copy from the author and this is my voluntary honest review.
