March: Book Three by John Lewis, Andrew Aydin

5.0

The art is simple and raw but the story is anything but. A powerful story told in such a wonderful way.

This series shows us that the March towards progress and equality did not end at Montgomery, or with the voting rights act, or in 2009. No, that march continues and if we are lucky we too can make a little progress in that march forward. It takes more then just a desire for change. It takes planning a preparation and I am glad this series showed that as well.

Bloody Sunday was only 52 years ago. That is a drop in the bucket and some days it seems like things may even be worse. But as long as good men stand up for equality the march towards progress will continue.
