I really enjoyed reading about the comments that Vi Hart gave on the book, which is included in the acknowledgments at the end (not only because it reminded me of my hexaflexagon obsession from almost a decade ago). Like Vi, I loved that the book made me feel emotionally connected to objects the way that Auri does. I loved the extra insight into her character, the hints at her larger story, and the world-building that happened through the eyes of a very unique character. Such a joyful read with small moments that made me feel big things.
