Sin and Ink
by Naima Simone
Around 2,7 to be exact.
Could have been probably 50-ish pages shorter if only both main characters aren't too busy repeating their guilt over and over again like a broken record. Yeah, sure your relationships are taboo, awkward, risky and whatsoever... WE GET IT, OK. There are just too much repetition, about the dead husband, about the broken family, about the failed relationship yadda yadda before it's actually moving forward. And the book rather took itself too seriously by deliberately making everything unnecessarily gloomy and heavy. Come on, this is a story about people wanting to fuck each other. Let's leave it at that, sis.
