I did enjoy this one and it was definitely worth my time to read. Once again du Maurier’s description of the scenery are so incredibly vivid and unique, however I don’t think the same can be said for the characters. They were all kind of tropey which made the plot quite guessable.
Overall, I didn’t hate it however I was definitely expecting more from it and won’t be picking it up again, anytime soon.
