As a long time lover of, well, anything to do with elves, I found Elfshadow an entertaining read. The coherent plot and engaging characters raise it above your run-of-the-mill Forgotten Realms novel. Elfshadow is the equivalent of a rousing popcorn flick and I look forward to following the characters throughout the rest of this series.
